Oh the holidays…. it’s a rare time that we get to take a break from work and other life demands and spend some time with family. Through the year I don’t get to see some of my family very much, so I really do cherish these times. This year my daughter went off to college so it’s been great getting to spend this extra time with her during her winter break. Here are a few snapshots of our family holidays:
I organized a few games for the family to play this year. This one was two teams, and each team had to “decorate” a person as a Christmas tree.
And then they were tasked with tying a tie with one hand (while wearing an oven mit!):
The final game was a wrapping relay. Each team had 3 boxes to wrap, one handed.
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and had the opportunity to spend time with the ones you love. We’re almost ready to roll into the next year. I’ll be running one more race to finish this year off. It’s the Last Run 2014 First Run 2015 in Lincoln. Each run is a 10k. Hubby is even going to run!
Do you play any games with your family when you get together? Share your favorites – I’m already looking for ideas for next year!
