As we roll into the month of March, the Fitfluential 1000 Burpee challenge is complete! Fitfluential teamed up with Under Armour to host a challenge for us all. The challenge – complete 1000 burpees in the month of February. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t easy; especially as I entered my marathon taper. I had to really push myself to knock out the final 100. If I would have planned better, I would have done more each day earlier in the month. Check out my post to see how I did.
This was a great challenge. I have incoporated more burpees into my classes and we’ve really been experimenting with new styles of burpees. We added tuck jumps, rolls, traveling, and so much more. Burpees are such a versatile exercise. I would even dub them the super-exercise, like kale is the new super-food! Check out this video by Fitfluential with a ton of great ideas:
