The start of a new year often brings about ideas of change. Looking ahead to this new year, I am thinking about what I want to accomplish, where I want to be, what races I want to run, etc. Some of the changes are going to mean taking a leap of faith. Some of them are going to mean putting in some old fashioned hard work. These changes are still a “draft” in my mind. I’m working to fine tune them. More to come on these…
Looking back at 2013, I can only smile when I think of the events and memories that come to mind. It was a good year, full of many blessings. 2013 proved to be a year full of many changes and growth for me. I completed 4 marathons, one half marathon, and one 10k. I set new PRs and I tested my limits. I ran a total of 2075 miles. I continued to teach cycling and group ex classes. I met some fantastic people at the races and in my classes.
As the first day of the new year comes to a close, what goals or resolutions have you set for this new year? Will you be taking a leap of faith, too?
